ABOUT
Buckets of hope is a new project we are launching this month to assist first responders and victims of natural disasters. Going through a disaster like a hurricane, tornado, flood or fire can be a very traumatic experience. We have seen many families lose their homes along with everything they own. Immediately after a disaster, the reality of loss and devastation starts to set in along with shock, doubts and feelings of hopelessness. That is the time we respond with a small measure of hope. A olunteer with a 5 gallon bucket filled with a variety of items that individuals use on a daily basis. The fact the items are pre packaged and are sealed in a water tight buckets make it easier and quicker to distribute. The buckets are also valuable in the recovery process as they can be used for storing, transporting goods, and clean up.
C O M I N G S O O N
Starting this fall we will begin customizing different types of buckets based on individual needs. For example, many of our seniors living on limited incomes struggle financially to provide food for themselves and for their pets. They will often take care of their pets before themselves, we want to help so we will provide separate buckets for dog and cat owners who need some help.
